Terms of servicE

Effective 5 September 2026.

Booking anything on this site means you and I have an agreement. This page is that agreement, written so you can actually read it. If a term here matters to you and it isn’t clear, email me before you buy, not after.

1. Who you are agreeing witH

This site is misfitfoxtarot.com, operated as Misfit Fox Tarot by Jason Pritchard, sole proprietor. . In these terms, “I” and “me” mean Misfit Fox Tarot. “You” means the person placing the order.

Contact: hello@misfitfoxtarot.com

2. You have to be 18 or oldeR

Services here are for adults. By ordering, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. I do not knowingly read for minors, and I do not read for a minor at a parent’s request.

3. What these services are, and what they are noT

I read tarot, I read charts, and I perform ritual work upon request. That work is offered for personal insight and reflection, and it is delivered as a considered, custom piece of work made by a person.

Readings and ritual work on this site are provided for entertainment purposes. That sentence is here because a number of US jurisdictions require it, and I would rather write it out plainly than bury it three clicks deep. What it means: nothing I deliver is a guaranteed prediction of the future, a licensed professional service, or a sound basis for a decision you would not otherwise be willing to stand behind. What it does not mean is that I treat the work casually. I take it seriously, and I put my name on every piece of it.

I am not a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer, a financial adviser, or a licensed counsellor, and nothing I deliver is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. A reading is not treatment, not diagnosis, and not a substitute for professional care. No outcome is guaranteed and no reading predicts the future with certainty. Every decision you make after a reading is yours, and you stay responsible for it.

If something in your life needs a doctor, a lawyer, or a therapist: go and get one. The cards will still be here afterwards.

4. This is not a crisis servicE

If you are in immediate danger, or thinking about harming yourself or anyone else, this is not what you need right now. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 for an emergency. Outside the US, use your local emergency number.

If you reach out in crisis, I will point you somewhere better and refund you rather than take your money.

5. Booking and paymenT

Prices are in US dollars and are shown on each service page. Payment is taken in full at checkout through WooCommerce and its payment processor. Your order is confirmed when payment clears and you receive a confirmation email.

Prices can change at any time. A change never applies to an order already placed and paid for. Any sales tax that applies is added at checkout.

6. What you send me, and why it matterS

Send the real question and, for anything involving a chart or more personalized data, send accurate birth data: date, time, and place of birth. A chart built on the wrong birth time is the wrong chart, and a reading built on it will be wrong through no fault of the work. That is not grounds for a refund. If you catch the error before delivery, tell me and I will correct it at no charge.

If you don’t know your birth time, say so when you order. There is work I can still do, and I will tell you plainly what it can and cannot answer.

7. Turnaround and deliverY

Standard turnaround is 48 to 72 hours from the point I have everything I need from you. A rush option is available on request, priced at the time of booking.

Delivery is by email, as a recorded video, a written summary, or both, depending on the service you bought. Everything is delivered digitally. Nothing is shipped, and there is nothing to schedule unless you bought a service that includes a live session.

If I am going to miss the turnaround, I will tell you before it passes. If the delay isn’t acceptable to you and I have not started the work, you can take a full refund.

8. Readings involving other peoplE

I read for the person who books, from that person’s question and chart. A reading will often touch on someone else in your life, because that is where most real questions live, and that is fine.

What I will not do is make a third party’s private life the subject of the reading. I do not read someone else’s chart for you to hold over them, I do not treat “what is he thinking about me” as an investigation of him rather than of you, and I do not take commissions to work on a person who has not asked for it.

9. The rite: what ritual work here will and will not dO

The Rite covers cord cutting, protection, manifestation, and binding, performed on your behalf.

A Binding here binds a pattern or a habit. It never binds a person. I do not perform hexes, curses, harm, coercion of anyone’s will, or any working intended to interfere with another person’s freedom to act. That is a standing rule and it is not negotiable at any price.

Every Rite begins with a prep read. If that prep tells me the rite you booked will not do what you actually need, I say so and refund you in full before I proceed. Ritual work supports a decision you are already making. It is not a substitute for a lock, a lawyer, a doctor, or leaving.

10. Work i may declinE

I can decline or cancel an order, and refund it in full, if the request involves a minor, an unconsenting third party, an intent to harm, an active crisis that needs professional help, abusive conduct toward me, or a question where the honest answer is that I am not the right person for it. Declining is not a judgement of you. It is me refusing to take money for work I do not believe in.

11. RefundS

All sales are final once work has begun, with the specific exceptions set out in the Refund and Returns Policy. Read that page before you buy. It is short, and it is the whole policy.

12. What you own, and what i owN

When your reading is delivered, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to keep it, re-watch it, and use it for your own life, for as long as you want it. That copy is yours.

I keep the copyright in the recording, the written work, and everything published on this site, including the writing in the Grimoire. You may quote or screenshot a piece of your reading privately. You may not republish it in full, sell it, present it as your own work, or use it, or anything else from this site, to train a machine learning model. If you want to share a reading publicly, ask me, and the answer will usually be yes.

13. What you tell me stays between uS

I treat the contents of your reading and everything you send me as private. I do not discuss clients by name, I do not share your question, and I do not sell or pass on your details.

The exceptions are the ordinary ones: where the law requires disclosure, or where there is a credible risk of serious harm to you or someone else. How your data is stored and processed, including by the payment and email platforms this site uses, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

14. Reviews and testimonialS

I publish a client’s words only with that person’s permission, and only their actual words. I do not write testimonials, invent them, or dress up a private message as a public review. If you have given permission and later change your mind, email me and it comes down.

15. Your account and your conduct on the sitE

If you create an account, keep your details accurate and your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to any part of this site, and do not use it to send anyone anything abusive or unlawful. I can suspend access for any of that.

16. Other companies involveD

This site runs on WordPress with WooCommerce, takes payment through a third-party payment processor, and sends email through a third-party email platform. Their terms and privacy practices govern their part of the transaction. I do not store your full card details at any point.

17. The Grimoire and everything else published herE

Posts, guides, quiz results, and free material on this site are general writing, published for anyone. They are not personal advice, and nobody has read your chart when you read them. Take what is useful and leave the rest.

18. No warrantY

The site and the services are provided as they are. I do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, and I make no promise as to any specific result, outcome, or event following a reading or a rite.

19. Limit of liabilitY

To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for any claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost opportunity, or any decision you made after a reading.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

20. IndemnitY

You agree to cover me against claims arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your use of a reading in a way these terms prohibit.

21. Governing law, and how disputes get handleD

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Before anything formal, email me. Most problems are a conversation, and I would rather have it than not. If a dispute cannot be resolved that way, it goes to the courts of that state.

22. Changes to these termS

I can update this page. The version in force on the date you place an order is the version that governs that order, and the effective date at the top tells you which one that is.
